Version 2.1.0 - Apr 2, 2025

• New! Focused Check-in

  • Focused Check-in is a new screen that lets you scan guests faster when they're all part of the same tour.

  • To start, tap a tour and select 'Check in this tour'.

  • Note that while using Focused Check-in, you can only check-in and add guests to the selected tour. 

    • The Dashboard is still the place to check-in guests across multiple tours!

• Updated! Dashboard Check-in

  • We've also updated checking in tours from the Dashboard. Starting with v2.1, Tap2Tour will automatically return to scanning after you tap 'Check in'.

  • This will save taps when checking in multiple guests in a row, even if they're not on the same tour.

  • Just tap Done to dismiss the scanning prompt when finished.

• New! Dashboard Card Sorting

  • Users can now sort the Dashboard cards by tour name or departure time. Tap the gear icon to open Options and try it out.

• New! Link to Training

  • A Training Resources link has been added to the side menu. Use it for quick access our help and how-to videos!

• Other Updates

  • Internal updates to support additional cruise lines.

  • Security enhancements.

  • Other minor updates and bug fixes.

Version 2.0.2 - Feb 15, 2025

• Adding Guests to Tours

  • Fixed an internal issue that prevented saving a guest to a tour.

  • The user will be alerted if the guest cannot be saved.

• Roster Screen

  • Fixed an issue where added guests would not display if the tour had no pre-booked guests.

• NFC Scanning

  • Added user feedback when an NFC scan is unsuccessful.

  • This should decrease the chance of adding a guest manually because of a bad scan.

Version 2.0.1 - Jan 31, 2025

• New Dashboard!

  • The Tap2Tour™ Dashboard has been optimized to check-in multiple tours without needing to switch between them. Use the Scan NFC & Scan Barcode buttons at the bottom of the Dashboard to start check-in.

  • Tapping a Tour Card on the Dashboard will display a menu of all actions available for that tour, including roster, dispatch and managing multiple groups.

  • Report & Options are now accessed via the new Options menu (gear icon found top-right of screen).

• Updated! Group Management

  • For single group tours it's no longer necessary to select a name before check-in begins.

  • For multi-group tours, tap the Tour Card and select "View/Manage Groups" to view, create and select groups.

• Updated! Manage Users (Leaders only)

  • The user list is now filtered by port (for tour operators) or ship (for cruise lines). 

    • Leaders with access to more than one port or ship can select a new filter by tapping the port or ship name at the top of the list.

  • New 'Limited User' Access Level & 'User' Role Changed (Tour Operators only)

    • A 'Limited User' access level has been added and that is now the access level that must be assigned to tours to see them. 

    • All existing tour operators with 'User' access level can now see all tours. If you have any 'Users' that should be restricted to only seeing assigned tours, please change their access to 'Limited User'.

• New! Freewheel Mode™

  • Cruise lines can now provide tour operators with a code that will unlock check-in directly from the Roster.

  • Cruise line users can view & copy the code via the Dashboard's new Options menu.

  • Tour Operators can enter the code by tapping the icon on the Roster screen and following the directions.

• New! NFC Detection

  • Tap2Tour will now notify you when NFC is turned off or not present on your device. 

  • Reminder: NFC enabled devices are required by cruise lines to 'tap' the cards or wearables they provide their guests.

• Other Updates & Improvements

  • Dashboard: The Dashboard now displays tours one ship at a time. To view another ship, tap the current ship name and choose a new one.

  • Map is now called "Group Tracking" and accessed via the side menu.

  • Simplified terms used in app:

    • Booked: Number of guests expected on the tour, including those added via Tap2Tour.

    • Scanned: Number of guests who have checked into the tour, including those who may have been later removed.

    • On Tour: Number of guests who are expected to be on tour, across all groups.

• Various Bug Fixes
